Keynote speaker: Carolyn Kreiter-Foronda, Poet Laureate of Virginia

Carolyn Kreiter-ForondaCarolyn Kreiter-Foronda has published four books of poetry, “Contrary Visions” (under the name, Carolyn Kreiter-Kurylo), “Gathering Light,” "Death Comes Riding” and “Greatest Hits,” and is the co-editor of two poetry anthologies, “In a Certain Place” and “Four Virginia Poets Laureate.” She has had three Pushcart Prize nominations, an Edgar Allan Poe First Place poetry award and a First Place poetry award from the Art & Writing Collaborative, Chesapeake Bay Branch of the National League of American Pen Women. Reproductions of her paintings and sculpture appear on the covers and pages of her books. She lives in Hardyville, Virginia.
